Every Friday morning from the beginning of April to the beginning of September there is the cheese market from ten to half a go the cheese carriers on the Waagplein to work. Visitors from all over the world come to see the spectacle.
The colorful hats of the cheese carriers, the hand-knit of the cheese traders and the lively market around it make a visit to the Alkmaar cheese.
